Our work is led by Dr Jeanne Hardacre. Our development work is not a 'nice to have'; it is business-critical, designed for tangible Impact and sustainable outcomes.
Early in her career, Founding Director Jeanne Hardacre worked for several years as a manager in the NHS in a range of clinical services and in organisation development roles. She has also worked for Siemens in Germany and a health promotion agency in Brussels.
She says, “I worked in some teams where we felt anything was possible. In other teams we approached our work with barely-disguised fear and dread. Back then, I believed that these leadership dynamics and the culture of the place made a real difference to what we could achieve for customers and patients. Now, with over 20 years of practical and academic experience, I know this to be true.”
Jeanne spent a number of years at the University of Birmingham combining consultancy, research and post-graduate teaching, working nationally and internationally on a wide range of leadership and organisational development programmes. She has worked independently since 2004 and established Impact4 in 2013. Jeanne has a reputation for her candid warmth and empathy, her independent thinking and for translating the evidence base into practical, impactful development work.
